Tearing out a driveway means a jackhammer, a dumpster, a new pour, and a week you cannot park. An overlay means one to two days and the slab you already paid for. What the slab needs to be
Cracked is fine. Stained is fine. Three pours that do not match are fine. What an overlay cannot fix is a slab that is sinking or heaving: it follows whatever is under it. We look at every driveway before we quote, and we will tell you straight if a section needs to come out first.
The job
Pressure wash, fill cracks and spalls, grind and prime, then pour and trowel. Walk on it the next day. Park on it in a few. No forms, no rebar, no concrete truck in the street.

Yes, if the asphalt is sound. Both products bond to asphalt as well as concrete.
Rubber Stone flexes over old cracks and hides them for good. Vuba Stone bridges hairline and settled cracks. A slab that is still moving is the exception, and we will tell you before we quote.
